Our Cheshire & Merseyside Drug Related Deaths area-wide event took place at the Quaker Meeting House Liverpool on Thursday 24th October 2019.
This event which was co-hosted by the Public Health Institute and Public Health England included a look at 2018's DRD figures for reporting areas, and presentations of work around DRD prevention from other parts of the country.

Drug-related deaths in England and Wales, ITV News
Drug-related deaths in England and Wales are the highest they have been since records began more than a quarter of a century ago, official figures show.
There were 4,359 deaths from drug poisoning recorded in England and Wales in 2018 – the highest number since records began in 1993, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.
