Our 2019 IMS annual user group event took place at Liverpool John Moores University's Exchange Station on Thursday 19th September 2019.
The event was attended by serivce providers and commissioners for the nine Local Authority areas within Cheshire and Merseyside. Details of speakers are available below, together with links to download their presentations.
Howard will present an overview of IMS activity for the 2018-19 financial year, looking at trends in the data, the split between psychoactive and IPED users for NSP services, and what it tells us about low threshold provision across the Cheshire and Merseyside footprint. IMS Overview Presentation

Interventions are at the core our Integrated Monitoring System, but with many different teams now using IMS, does our current description for 'brief intervention' adequately cover the work that services are delivering?Howard will present on how interventions are currently recorded within IMS, and open the discussion by presenting some new intervention category descriptions. Nicola from South Liverpool foodbank together with Simon and Netty of North Liverpool foodbank give a city-wide perspective on the role of Trussell Trust in Liverpool. The Trussell Trust support a nationwide network of food banks and together we provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.
