Our IMS annual user group event took take place at Liverpool John Moores University, on Tuesday 18th July 2017. The meeting included a look at provisional figures from the forthcoming 2016-17 annual report, along with presentations on the new client cohort groups, an overview of new reporting tools, an update on drug-related deaths, and a talk about the diagnosis and treament of Hepatitis C among people who inject drugs.

Drug Policy reform

The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) are calling for measures aimed at moving UK drugs strategy away from a predominantly criminal justice approach towards one based on public health and harm reduction. They came to Liverpool to find out what people thought about existing drugs policy. www.rsph.org.uk
